Advait A. Patil
I’m a medical student at Harvard Medical School and Head of Health and Life Sciences at Quadrillion Labs. I previously received a master’s in Computer Science (AI track) and bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Biology from Stanford.
I research the integration of human and artificial intelligence in neurosurgery. I lead initiatives at Mass General Brigham translating machine learning advances into clinically-deployed algorithms and rigorous studies to improve safety, access, and outcomes in neurosurgical care.
I’ve spent time innovating from molecular to population scales at Stanford ChEM-H & Bioengineering, NASA Astrobiology, Stanford Health Care, MIT, and UCSF.
In a former life I was invited to The White House, was a Science Talent Search finalist, and attended a (wonderful) nerd camp at MIT. You can find my main-belt asteroid dancing around somewhere between Mars and Jupyter.
When not at the bench, computer, or hospital, I enjoy long bike rides and reflecting on our world’s natural wonders through nature photography and poetry.
